Problems regarding self-esteem and independence
How you think about yourself largely determines your personality and behaviour. With low self-esteem you have the feeling that you’re not good enough, and you compare yourself to other people, thinking that they are better than you. You place very high standards for yourself and this can cause problems at work or in your social life because receiving criticism is difficult for you and will be seen as a confirmation that you are not good enough. People with low self-esteem are more troubled by failure and tend to exaggerate events as being negative
The image that you have formed about yourself is supported by irrational thoughts. If you want to improve your low self-esteem then you must learn to break the negative spiral. Feeling confident about yourself can help you to feel a little more secure in life.
